Institute of Fine Arts at Çankırı Karatekin University was established on 01.02.2010 upon the decision of the Council of Ministers numbered 2010/103.

The Institute began to accept its first students to the Art and Design Master`s Program in 2017.

Art and Design Master`s Program in English was introduced in 2019.
